Rock Music for Kids
Are you interested in rock music for kids? Rock Dojo has been working on an original rock album for kids for the past six weeks, and it’s almost finished. I created it for two reasons: 1. To inspire kids to pursue rock guitar as a means of personal development. 2. To teach kids fundamental musical concepts. That means every song on the album teaches students one fundamental musical concept.

I wrote Rise Above (There’s A Hero Inside of Everyone) to inspire children to rise above the challenges or difficult circumstances they face and to find their voice through music. The song features Portland-based singer Andrew Stromstad on vocals, bass, and drums.
Rock Dojo Responds to COVID-19 by Creating Rock Music for Kids
When COVID-19 hit, it closed down Rock Dojo’s after-school guitar programs. I used that time to pivot the Rock Dojo by creating a complete online learning platform for kids, including the Rock Dojo’s video-on-demand courses. In the process, I also wanted to create original music that was fun, inspiring, and sound fantastic. I had a blast making the album, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
