Programs and Services Offered by RACC

RACC provides services in five key areas: arts advocacy, grants, public arts programs, community services, and arts education. In addition, RACC oversees ‘The Right Brain Initiative,’ a program designed “to integrate arts and culture into the standard curriculum in public schools throughout the region.”

Rock Dojo Awarded a 2018 RACC Project Grant

The Rock Dojo was awarded a 2018 RACC Project Grant. In partnership with Bienstar de la Familia, the grant money will fund a series of 12 guitar and songwriting workshops for immigrant and refugee families in the Cully Neighborhood of NE Portland.

During the workshops, kids between the ages of 6—12-years-old and their parents will learn basic musical concepts such as the natural minor scale and power chords on the guitar while composing original music using our unique step-by-step songwriting method.

Rock Dojo Awarded a 2018 RACC Professional Development Grant

The Rock Dojo is going to the 2018 NAMM Trade Show thanks to the generous support of RACC! The NAMM trade show is the industry’s largest gathering of music professionals with over 100,000 attendees from around the globe. Once there, Rock Dojo founders Brian & Sophie Parham will have the opportunity to build brand awareness, cultivate strategic partnerships, and learn from the best and brightest CEOs in the industry.
