Learn How to Play Eye of the Tiger on Guitar
In today’s guitar lesson for kids, I’ll teach you how to play Rocky Balboa’s theme song, Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Eye of the Tiger is a perfect choice for those who want to learn how to play easy electric guitar songs. Plus, it’s instantly recognizable. That means you’ll be impressing your friends with your guitar prowess faster than you can say, “I don’t hear no bell, Tommy!”
Eye of the Tiger Uses Power Chords
Power chords are two-note chords. Power chords are built from the first and fifth-degree of any major scale. Since they don’t have a third-scale degree, they’re neither major nor minor. For that reason, you can substitute power chords for any major or minor chords. In other words, power chords are the ultimate lazy man’s tool for rocking on the guitar. Plus, they sound huge on the electric guitar with distortion.
