Rock Dojo’s online private guitar lessons will transform your child from a beginner to a rock ninja! This is your child’s chance to study one-on-one with Portland’s “Best Guitar Educator.” Our award-winning curriculum helps your children:

In 2015, Brian Parham co-founded the Rock Dojo, an award-winning guitar program for kids. His top accomplishments include the following:
- Recognized as “Portland’s Best Guitar Educator” in 2024.
- Summa Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music.
- Creator of “Elijah & the Sacred Song,” named a top 5 finalist in the 2023 National Musical Theatre Competition.
When he’s not rocking the guitar, Brian enjoys reading comic books, training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and spending quality time with his wife.
Sophie Parham is the co-founder of the Rock Dojo. She grew up in France, where she began playing the violin and piano at age three and fell in love with the guitar as an adult. She earned a Rock Guitar Professional Certificate from Berklee College of Music in 2021. Her empathic and positive teaching style focuses on developing complete musicianship and encouraging her students’ lifelong love for music.
