Rock Dojo After-School Group Guitar Lessons

During our after-school group guitar lessons at Beverly Cleary School, students learn the 5-Must Know Musical Concepts for Rock Guitar such as moveable power chords and the minor pentatonic scale. In addition, kids learn to play together in guitar ensembles, accompany their friends with bass parts or power chords, and how to compose their own original music on the guitar!

How Many Kids Have Learned to Play Guitar with the Rock Dojo Group Guitar Classes at Beverly Cleary School?

Over the last two years, nearly thirty kids have learned to play guitar during the Rock Dojo after-school group guitar classes at Beverly Cleary School.  While our group guitar classes are always fun and relaxed, we challenge students to push themselves to learn to play guitar, practice at home, and compose their own original music on the guitar.
