What to expect:

  1. Rock ‘n’ Roll to success: The Rock Dojo guitar summer camp was created to teach kids the transferable skills they need to be successful on the bandstand or in the classroom. Students are encouraged to explore and communicate universal concepts such as goal-setting, prioritization, and opportunity cost as they learn to rock on the guitar!
  2. Achievement: Based on a rewarding belt system, students begin at the white belt level progressing through five stages of skill and achievement. At each stage of their musical education, students master the skills necessary to play, perform, and compose with confidence.
  3. Creativity: Students learn to transform standard musical concepts into personal creative projects. At the end of summer camp, students compose and present one original composition.
  4. Performance: Students experience the commitment, focus, and thrill of performing music in front of an audience of family and friends.
